Visit Ndutu Birth Place of the Wildebeest

Ndutu, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is famous for being the birthplace of the wildebeest. During their epic migration, wildebeest linger here to calve so that the mothers can feast on the luxuriant grass of this volcanic location. This occurs once a year, from January to March.
Lake Ndutu is a soda lake bordered by wetlands and woods, as well as the short grass plains of the Serengeti. It is a must-see for witnessing the wonderful natural phenomenon of the Wildebeest with their new calves, as well as for viewing the large cats and predators.
